SELFLESS GIVING

Flowers, especially those in the wild, bloom and blossom even when no one notices.
Unlike flowers, humans naturally crave for recognition, reward and rousing applause. That's normal! 
Blessed is the one who delights to "bloom and blossom" for the greater good, pleasure and profit of a mostly unappreciative, uninterested and (even) ungrateful audience. For THAT, truly, is selfless giving.

Death lost its sting when I was smitten by the amazing love of God. Not by any merit or credit due to me but saved solely by grace. 
He is alive! My saviour is alive! Because He lives, He puts death in its place once and for all...

TEMPORARY SEPARATION

When someone you care for very much dies, it helps to imagine that he has migrated to a faraway land ahead of you. Keep the thought that someday you will be reunited and once again relish each other's company. Be hopeful; separation is temporary!
